Sinopse
Gu Yancheng, the heir of the Gu Group who has lost his ability to carve, unexpectedly crosses paths with Yu Xuan, a part-time chauffeur who bears a striking resemblance to the maiden in the family’s thousand-year-old painting, The Ascending Celestial Maiden. Strangely, whenever Yu Xuan is in danger, Gu Yancheng finds himself instinctively rushing to protect her.
To test his reaction and because Yu Xuan seems to help him regain his carving abilities, Gu Yancheng devises a plan to make her his chauffeur and assistant, even having her move into his home. One is a narcissistic, obsessively perfectionistic sufferer of severe OCD, while the other is a carefree, reckless assistant with top-tier combat skills. Thus begins their “cohabitation,” filled with mutual disdain yet inseparable from each other.
As they spend time together, their feelings gradually deepen, and Gu Yancheng begins to treat Yu Xuan with the ultimate doting possessiveness of a CEO. However, just as their relationship starts to heat up, Yu Xuan uncovers the truth about The Ascending Celestial Maiden—everything had been an illusion.
