Business tycoon Gu Yixiao is notorious for his ruthlessness, with his secretary Ye Xingwan being his only soft spot. Due to a misunderstanding from fifteen years ago, he masterminded a scheme to control and torment her. However, the seemingly delicate Ye Xingwan no longer tolerates his cruelty. Instead, she turns the tables on him, using herself as bait to engage in a tumultuous, love-hate relationship. In the end, Gu Yixiao begins to repent, and a glimmer of redemption emerges.
