Sinopse
Adapted from You Sijie's novel of the same name, the drama tells the story of Xie Qingyuan, who lost her mother in childhood and ended up on the streets, and Shen Run, who was exiled to the army due to family misfortune.
The two made a pact to survive. As adults, Xie Qingyuan returns to her family to investigate her mother's wrongful case, while Shen Run, as a high-ranking official, is tasked with probing corruption in Qiantang. Reunited, they join forces to uncover the truth.
With Shen Run's help, Qingyuan solves the mystery of her mother's death, while Shen Run relies on Qingyuan to foil a treacherous conspiracy. In the end, they overcome hardships and spend their lives together.
