In 2000, he entered the entertainment industry by appearing in his first TV series 非常公民.

In 2004, he was recognized by the audience for playing the role of Hu Yang, a special forces captain in the military drama 青春正步走. In 2014, he gained more attention for his role as Zhang Yucheng, a political commissar in the drama 绝地枪王.
