> My Girlfriend's Boyfriend Recap

A Zhai began by reflecting on his current situation, humorously likening life to a marathon where he thought he was at the finish line but missed a lap. He introduced his "girlfriend," Xia Wa, and "boyfriend," Adam, explaining their unusual living arrangement: Xia Wa meticulously prepares breakfast for Adam, who then brings it to A Zhai. Thus, their unique love triangle dynamic persists: A Zhai likes Xia Wa, Xia Wa likes Adam, and Adam likes A Zhai.

He mused that one must always check for poison when receiving a gift from fate. Returning to school, A Zhai met up with his best friend, Wang Fugui, who had encouraged him to go to Japan to pursue Pei Ni and even lent him money for the plane tickets. As they headed towards the Anime Society, they heard a loud shout from President Meng Shan, a "Senior Fujoshi" whom Wang Fugui secretly admired despite her disinterest in him.

Meng Shan, described by A Zhai as aggressive, independent, and talented in writing and drawing for their society's annual competition, which she also writes, ordered A Zhai and Wang Fugui to get to work. Inside, they found Nana, the society's artist, who suffered from "severe princess syndrome." Nana proudly showed off a miniature house, boasting that it symbolized her boyfriend's desire to "build a home together."

Wang Fugui, in an aside, quipped that if he'd been given a subway model, it would mean wanting to "die together." A Zhai then introduced Jin Gang, the society's prop maker and cosplayer, who frequently took on the knight role in their "Dragon Knight" performances due to his strong physique. A Zhai considered Jin Gang a rival because he too harbored feelings for Pei Ni.

While they were setting up, a familiar face appeared – Su Zixuan, the student council president and a popular figure on campus. A Zhai privately seethed, blaming Su Zixuan, Pei Ni's ex-boyfriend, for all his current misfortunes. He believed that if not for Su Zixuan, Pei Ni wouldn't have gone to Japan, and A Zhai wouldn't have followed, leading to the "mess" he was now in. Meng Shan presented Su Zixuan with a gift from the society.

Wang Fugui wondered why Su Zixuan, a supposedly minor character, was appearing so early. A Zhai's focus was broken by the arrival of Adam, who immediately drew the attention of a group of excited girls. When questioned about Adam's identity, a flustered A Zhai impulsively declared him his "second uncle" before quickly pulling Adam away into a deserted room. Adam had brought A Zhai lunch.

A Zhai expressed his frustration, telling Adam not to appear at school again as he caused too much commotion and trouble. He emphasized that Adam was only tolerated at home because of Xia Wa and urged him to behave quietly. Despite his complaints, A Zhai's mood shifted dramatically after a single bite of the sandwich Adam had prepared, finding it incredibly delicious.

He savored the rest of the meal, which included exquisite dishes such as rainbow milk macaroons, tempura salad, French sushi, and sashimi, overwhelmed by the unexpected culinary delight. Feeling the need to clarify their dynamic, A Zhai tried to explain the concept of "brotherhood" to Adam, using historical figures like Liu Bei and Guan Yu as examples of deep, lifelong bonds. He stressed that Adam's intense focus on him might not be his true "natural instinct."

Given Adam's good looks and physique, A Zhai suggested he should "try women," encouraging him to explore relationships with females and "conquer" them, after which they could "summarize" his preferences. He also advised Adam to update his wardrobe. Adam agreed and left. Back at the Anime Society, Nana spotted A Zhai with the house model.

She jokingly asked if he wanted to build a "love nest" with her, before adding that while he was a good person, there was no chance for them, but his "second uncle" (Adam) might have a shot. Suddenly, Adam appeared, asking A Zhai if he wanted to build a home with him, confirming he felt the same way. A Zhai was left speechless.

Later, A Zhai, conversing with Wang Fugui, recounted how he had advised Adam to direct his attention towards girls and that Adam had seemingly taken his advice. Wang Fugui then pointed out the glaring implication: with A Zhai busy at school, and Xia Wa and Adam at home alone, A Zhai's advice essentially meant he wanted Adam and Xia Wa to get together.

The realization hit A Zhai, who then declared his "friend" (himself) to be a "fool" and rushed off. A Zhai's phone buzzed with a flurry of text messages detailing multiple large deductions from his credit card at a local department store. Realizing his card had been stolen, he rushed to the store, only to find Xia Wa holding numerous shopping bags.

Xia Wa admitted to using his card, explaining that she was buying clothes for Adam and some for herself too. Adam then appeared, looking stylish in new clothes, confirming that Xia Wa had been shopping for him. Xia Wa reminded A Zhai that he had told Adam to update his style and interact more with girls, justifying their shopping trip. She thanked A Zhai, believing him to be kind.

With Xia Wa adding even more items to their pile, A Zhai, still affected by her resemblance to Pei Ni, couldn't bring himself to refuse. He ended up purchasing all the items and left the store laden with bags, trailing behind a content Xia Wa and Adam, who walked arm-in-arm. Later, Adam was seen trying to practice an apology, seemingly inspired by idol dramas, for a past transgression.

A Zhai then offered to teach him how to apologize to a girl, stressing sincerity and making them feel secure by giving them attention. He even demonstrated an aggressive technique involving grabbing the neck and hand while pinning the foot to ensure the person couldn't escape.

Adam then turned to A Zhai, applying the lessons, and apologized specifically for not considering A Zhai's feelings when he went shopping with Xia Wa, emphatically reassuring A Zhai that he would "never like her back." Suddenly, the lights went out.
