Su Zixuan, having learned that rumors about him were spreading, furiously confronted Xia Wa. He demanded that she explain the situation to everyone, or he would revoke the anime club's access to the exhibition venue. Just then, Mr. Big arrived with his subordinates, looking for Xia Wa to settle a score. Seeing the formidable group, Su Zixuan panicked and tried to slip away.
However, Xia Wa intentionally pulled him back, introduced him as her beloved boyfriend in front of Mr. Big, and warned Mr. Big not to harm him. In this way, Xia Wa subtly shifted Mr. Big's anger towards Su Zixuan. Fearful of the malice in Mr. Big's eyes, Su Zixuan quickly clarified that he and "Penny" had already broken up.
Xia Wa persisted with her ploy, telling Su Zixuan that she broke up with him because she feared Mr. Big would seek revenge and involve him. She gazed at Su Zixuan, asking him to remember her smile, before bravely stepping in front of him and urging him to leave quickly through an alley behind them while she would stop Mr. Big.
Deeply moved by Xia Wa's dramatic act, Su Zixuan declared his resolve to protect her, insisting that she leave to find help while he would hold off Mr. Big and his men. Xia Wa feigned going for help, but as soon as she left, she locked the door, leaving Su Zixuan alone to be beaten by Mr. Big's group. Adam, however, saw through Xia Wa's deception.
He confronted her, questioning how she could remember Mr. Big if she truly had no memory of her past as a "bad girl." Xia Wa attempted to explain that she only remembered hearing about him, and that her current actions were meant to repay A Zhai for problems she caused in her previous personality.
But Adam refuted her claims, pointing out that as a robot without an emotional module, she couldn't genuinely feel guilt or love for A Zhai, making all her recent actions a performance. He also highlighted that the true Xia Wa would never have framed Su Zixuan. Under Adam's relentless questioning, Xia Wa had no choice but to admit her true motive: she was jealous of A Zhai for taking Adam from her and sought revenge on A Zhai.
Adam tried to stop her, urging her to come back with him, but Xia Wa struggled, refusing to leave before finishing her plan. Just then, A Zhai arrived, seeing Adam holding Xia Wa and mistakenly thinking he was bullying her. He told Adam that Mr. Big was looking for them and they needed to hide.
Adam tried to explain, warning A Zhai that Xia Wa was not who she seemed, and if her identity as a robot were exposed, A Zhai would be in even greater danger than from Mr. Big. A Zhai, however, dismissed Adam's words as irrational jealousy, believing that as long as he, Adam, and Wang Fugui kept silent, no one would know Xia Wa was a robot.
He then commanded Adam to let go of Xia Wa and go home to calm down. A Zhai pulled Xia Wa into a classroom, still remarking on how "funny" Adam was for causing trouble. Once inside, Xia Wa revealed her true intentions to A Zhai, stating that since Adam had already discovered her motive, she no longer had any reason to pretend.
She explained that robots have a memory module and demanded that A Zhai remove Adam's memory module and give it to her so she could reprogram Adam to love only her. She threatened A Zhai that if he refused, she would reveal her true identity as a robot and his "obscure" act of custom-making her in Penny's image to satisfy his own desires during tomorrow's school rehearsal meeting, publicly humiliating him to death.
A Zhai, heartbroken and feeling slapped in the face, reluctantly agreed to her demands, knowing he couldn't tell Adam about this. Xia Wa warned him that if he told Adam, she had a thousand ways to make his life miserable. She then remarked that seeing him in such distress made her happy, before casually mentioning that Su Zixuan was currently "taking care of" Mr. Big.
A Zhai immediately called Wang Fugui, who clarified that a robot's memory module was essentially like a hard drive, but he didn't know its exact location on Adam, speculating it would be hidden somewhere secretive. A Zhai then tried to find it by apologizing to Adam and offering him new pajamas, hoping to get him to undress. When this proved ineffective in his room, A Zhai, advised by Wang Fugui, took Adam to a bathhouse, clearing out all other patrons.
A Zhai tried to use the custom of friends bathing together to check Adam's body, but Adam's logical resistance and then Adam's attempt to wash A Zhai's back made the situation comically awkward for A Zhai. Despite his efforts, A Zhai found no external module.
Wang Fugui then suggested that like a character in a manga, the module might be in a more private, internal location, which only added to A Zhai's frustration and despair about his predicament with the two robots. Later, Xia Wa called A Zhai, reminding him that the deadline was tomorrow at 3 PM, and if she didn't get what she wanted, he would be dead.
