Anji was consumed by rage as she recalled the annual party where Jiang Yiyi received a major award. She had diligently worked out and dieted, becoming a brand ambassador for travel agencies, all with the singular goal of joining Chu Tianqi on a mountain climbing trip. Her fury stemmed from Yiyi’s seemingly effortless reconciliation with Tianqi, which thwarted Anji’s elaborate plans.
At that same party, Anji had secretly drugged a glass of champagne, intending it for Yiyi, but Chu Tianqi had inadvertently consumed it instead. Later, as Anji was leaving work, she found herself trapped in a malfunctioning elevator. Fang Muye’s voice resonated through the flickering light, revealing his knowledge of her actions. He told her he knew she had drugged the champagne and that her true target was Jiang Yiyi, not Chu Tianqi.
He warned her that if he ever discovered her plotting to harm Yiyi again, he would not spare her. Anji tried to feign misunderstanding, but then received a video on her phone showing her tampering with the drink. Confronted with undeniable proof, Anji was filled with bitter resentment, bewildered by everyone’s apparent support for Jiang Yiyi.
Back at the gym, the crisis surrounding the food poisoning incident was resolved when Chu Tianqi publicly clarified that his gastroenteritis was caused by constant travel and an upset stomach, not by Mu-Xing Gym's meal plans. This announcement cleared the gym's name. With the crisis averted, Miaomiao announced a two-day weekend getaway for all staff to Fang Muye’s farm in the suburbs, viewing it as an ideal opportunity to plan their "farm to table" promotions.
Meng Sizhuo, who had initially hoped for a more intimate trip with Miaomiao, was slightly disappointed it had turned into a group event, but he ultimately agreed to join. Jiang Yiyi joined the group, intending to film a promotional video for her project. As they drove through the vast estate, Yiyi mused about the strangeness of Muye owning such a large property, which belonged to his grandmother, yet choosing to share a small apartment with her.
Muye explained that the land was segmented into plots and leased out, adding that even the organic vegetables they had enjoyed at the gym’s buffet were cultivated there. Upon realizing she had forgotten her camera battery, Muye suggested she use her phone instead, arguing that phone videos possessed a "unique style" and a "more personal touch," akin to those of online influencers. Yiyi reluctantly agreed, and everyone enthusiastically participated in demonstrating the "Ultrasmart sports clothes."
They filmed various scenarios, showcasing the garments' waterproof capabilities for rainy weather and integrated hydration features for marathon runners. For a third segment, Yiyi had everyone don colorful vegetable and fruit costumes, like a banana, pepper, and bean, to embody "organic living" by crushing watermelons to create healthy milkshakes. Muye even utilized his powers to produce a "cat purring" sound effect, hoping to help them maintain focus.
After the filming concluded, everyone, parched from their efforts, eagerly drank the fresh watermelon milkshakes. After the photoshoot, Yiyi joined Miaomiao and the others in a traditional kitchen where they were building a wood fire. Yiyi expressed her fascination with the rustic cooking method and wondered why Muye, who usually enjoyed culinary tasks, wasn't participating. Muye, haunted by a past traumatic event involving fire, explained he wasn't adept at lighting fires and typically used an induction hob at home.
Miaomiao mentioned that she frequently visited the farm as a child and more recently to oversee the vegetables, noting that the place hadn't changed much. She then discreetly thanked Yiyi for her assistance with the Chu Tianqi situation, asking her to keep it private from Muye. Later, during dinner, Muye played the guitar, drawing the attention of the female guests. Meng Sizhuo playfully accused Yiyi of being "obsessed" with Muye, a claim she promptly denied.
Later that evening at the villa, Jiang Yiyi discovered an insect bite on her back, prompting Muye to suggest she take a shower. He offered her his grandmother's "sparkling herbal wine made of flowers," explaining it could be used for bathing or drinking. While in the shower, Yiyi decided that consuming the wine would be more effective for her allergy and took several sips. Meanwhile, the others were playing truth or dare in the living room.
When Muye was asked if he harbored feelings for anyone present, he hesitated before ultimately taking a drink that Meng Sizhuo had spiked with alcohol. Feeling dizzy, Muye excused himself to check on Yiyi, but instead, he used his powers to instantly teleport to his grandmother’s bedside. There, he held her hand and expressed his profound longing, wondering when she would awaken.
Back in the living room, when it was Meng Sizhuo’s turn for truth, he confessed his love for Miaomiao. Miaomiao, angered by his confession, stormed out, followed by Ma Yun. Ma Yun then confronted Miaomiao, asserting that Sizhuo's feelings were genuine, but Miaomiao liked someone else, thereby revealing the strain of their love triangle involving Muye. Meanwhile, Yiyi, feeling disoriented from the medicinal wine, inadvertently wandered into what she soon realized was Muye’s grandmother’s room.
Muye quickly found her there and guided her outside to the starlit lawn in front of the villa. Under the vast night sky, Muye recounted his childhood, spent predominantly with his grandmother while his parents were consistently abroad. He emotionally described the fire that occurred when he was eleven, where his grandmother bravely shielded him from the flames, leaving him with minor burns but tragically rendering her comatose for nine years.
He expressed deep resentment towards his cold-hearted parents for abandoning his grandmother and even considering euthanasia. Yiyi, deeply moved by his story, finally understood his enduring pain and realized his vegetarianism was a devoted prayer for his grandmother’s recovery. She comforted him, confidently asserting she had a strong premonition his grandmother would soon awaken. Just as Muye was about to confide something else in Yiyi, she excitedly mistook a passing plane for a shooting star.
Seeing her joy, Muye used his powers to conjure a spectacular meteor shower across the sky. Yiyi closed her eyes to make a wish, and Muye, captivated by her radiant smile, felt as if she could illuminate the darkest night. As Yiyi drifted off to sleep on the grass, Muye gently draped his jacket over her, contemplating whether their relationship would be different if he weren't her Guardian.
The next morning, Yiyi and Muye woke up on the grass to discover that everyone else had already departed for the city. They were left to hitch a ride back on a truck transporting vegetables. Yiyi felt utterly refreshed and joyful after waking up amidst nature, as if all her worries had dissolved.
Muye inquired if she remembered anything from the previous night, which made her anxious about any embarrassing actions, but he feigned sleep when she pressed him for details. Soon after, Yiyi received an exciting phone call from Gigi, announcing her return. Upon arriving home, Yiyi was greeted by Gigi, her old roommate. Yiyi introduced Fang Muye to Gigi, who already knew him as the "cute guy" Yiyi had often mentioned.
Gigi playfully teased Yiyi about Muye’s "big, cute eyes" and asked if Yiyi had feelings for him, but Yiyi denied it, insisting they were "just roommates." Gigi then admonished Yiyi for having her youth revolve entirely around Chu Tianqi, neglecting her own inventions and career. Yiyi retorted that she had never ceased inventing, although her projects, such as the robotic arm, weren't progressing as smoothly as she hoped.
Gigi advised Yiyi that if she truly liked Muye, she should "make the first move," adding that if Yiyi remained passive, she would pursue him herself. Feeling he was intruding on their reunion, Muye volunteered to go out and buy some snacks. While waiting at a barbecue stall, Muye, a devout vegetarian, found himself experiencing an unusual and intense craving for the grilled meat.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his back, and his body uncontrollably teleported him into a secluded alley. There, to his astonishment and alarm, his shimmering, transparent wings burst forth, fully unfurled and beyond his control.
