Fang Muye, weakened from using his powers during the forbidden month, collapsed after carrying Jiang Yiyi home. While unconscious, he dreamt of Yiyi covered in blood. Upon waking, he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. Soon after, he received a celestial message, realizing he had entered the primary stage of his Guardian training, which meant his Guardian's Wings would be awakened.
The message reminded him that his training should be fully focused on his ward's welfare, and that the wings would begin to stir when an exclusive bond was established between them. The next morning, Yiyi video-called Muye from the living room, complaining that her feet were red and swollen from being left in a miserable state the previous night, and demanded he make her an elaborate breakfast.
As Muye prepared the meal shirtless, Yiyi remarked that while he looked alright, she preferred men in suits, like the celebrity You You she saw in a magazine, finding it more elegant. She then gave Muye a pair of limited-edition sneakers she'd bought, explaining it was a reward for carrying her home. Muye feigned disinterest, calling them common, but quickly snatched them back when Yiyi threatened to reclaim the expensive, hard-to-find shoes, which she had fought "some fat girl" for.
At work, Vivian, the company director, discussed Yiyi's sportswear plan. She told Yiyi that Angel had proposed excellent ideas, such as expanding sportswear to include activities like rock climbing and hiking, and decided to assign Angel to assist Yiyi with the project, despite Yiyi's protests. Later, when Angel came to talk about the plan, she noticed Yiyi looking at horoscopes. Angel asked Yiyi to check the daily forecast for Capricorns, her boyfriend's sign.
The reading suggested stagnation in relationships, a new work opportunity, but also potential health issues. Yiyi, mentioning her own "rough experiences" with Capricorns, then read that Capricorns prefer independent, refined, traditional, and mature partners over "cuddly and gentle" ones, which Angel believed fit her. Angel then invited Yiyi to a climbing gym that weekend to find inspiration for new sportswear elements. Yiyi visited the Mu-Xing Gym to observe, where she overheard someone criticizing a conservative sportswear design.
Meng Sizuo approached her, explaining that for female consumers, sportswear appeal often comes down to "looking sexy," which he defined as "eye-grabbing, tight, curvy, streamlined, playful, naughty, and defiant." Muye then introduced Yiyi to Miaomiao, a long-time friend, as his new roommate who was designing sportswear and needed people to try out samples. Miaomiao, visibly displeased by the "roommate" revelation, curtly refused to help and walked away. Meng Sizuo, sensing her anger, followed her.
Meanwhile, a fitness magazine invited badminton champion You You and Muye for a photoshoot. You You immediately noticed and praised Muye's new shoes, mentioning he had the same pair in red. Before the shoot, You You engaged in a live stream with his fans. During a break, You You spotted wing-like marks on Muye's back. He encouraged Muye to be brave and pursue love without fear of getting hurt, leaving Muye confused about his words.
Later, during You You's interview, Yiyi video-called Muye, spotted You You in the background, and excitedly declared she was coming to visit, asking Muye to stall him. After the shoot, Muye, Yiyi, and You You went to dinner. Yiyi, starstruck, chatted enthusiastically with You You. While Yiyi went to get more beer, You You advised Muye to praise girls more, even for small details, to make them happy.
Muye, attempting to compliment Yiyi upon her return, awkwardly commented that her ears looked like "dumplings" and then "seashells." You You quickly intervened, explaining Muye meant her ears were "cute and tender, like a mermaid's," which pleased Yiyi greatly. Yiyi then asked You You about former badminton player Shi Liang. Muye clarified that Yiyi was developing a mechanical arm and hoped to replicate Shi Liang's playing style with it.
You You, familiar with Shi Liang's technique, offered to be a consultant, providing insights into his posture and style. As You You prepared to leave, he threw a glowing sphere at Muye, telling him to focus less on training metrics and more on cherishing time with his ward, as true happiness required mutual achievement. Muye then realized You You was his senior.
On their way home, Yiyi, still admiring You You, asked Muye if he knew how to rock climb, expressing her desire to outdo Angel. Sensing impending trouble if he refused, Muye agreed to help, outlining a rigorous training plan. The very next day, Muye woke Yiyi at 5 AM for a morning run, demanding she stick to a strict exercise routine and healthy diet, replacing her desired fried chicken and beer with apples and yogurt.
He then took her to the gym for spinning, instructing Ma Yun to supervise Yiyi and ensure she didn't slack off. Miaomiao, observing Muye's intense attention towards Yiyi, appeared jealous. Later, Yiyi's phone caught a virus and wouldn't turn on. Muye suggested taking it to a repair shop the next morning. The following day, the repairman estimated a two-hour wait. Anxious about her climbing appointment with Angel, Yiyi left Muye to wait for her phone.
The technician began to reformat the phone, backing up all data to a computer. While checking the backup, Muye discovered numerous photos of Chu Tianqi, realizing Yiyi still held deep feelings for her ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, at the climbing gym, Yiyi, unwilling to be outdone by Angel, bravely tackled a difficult climbing wall. Reaching the top, she silently wished Muye could witness her achievement. However, she misstepped and plunged downwards. The belayer, distracted, failed to react. Just as Yiyi fell, Muye, sensing her danger, instantly teleported to her side, catching her in mid-air. The impact, however, caused them to accidentally share a kiss.
