Love is in the Air Episode 11 Recap
> Love is in the Air Recap
Jiang Yiyi was enjoying breakfast at home when her friend Gigi attempted to share something important. Gigi insisted that Chu Tianqi had returned from his business trip earlier than Yiyi thought, and she had seen him with Angel at a bar the previous night. Yiyi, however, dismissed Gigi’s concerns, attributing them to Gigi's long-standing disapproval of her relationship with Chu Tianqi.
Frustrated by Yiyi's disbelief, Gigi angrily vowed never to meddle in Yiyi's affairs again, even swearing by Yiyi's robot vacuum cleaner. Meanwhile, Chu Tianqi emerged from Angel's home, where he had spent the entire night discussing business with Angel's father. He called Yiyi, falsely claiming he had just landed and inviting her for breakfast at his place, offering to make sandwiches. Yiyi, already outside his apartment building, was delighted to see him.
As Chu Tianqi prepared coffee, Yiyi noticed his actual return flight ticket, which was for an earlier date, in his jacket pocket. This immediately brought Gigi's warning to mind. Her suspicions were confirmed when she saw a message from Angel on Chu Tianqi's phone, reminding him that he had left his wallet in her car yesterday. Realizing he had lied, Yiyi felt deeply disappointed and left without taking the necklace he had prepared as a gift.
Unbeknownst to Yiyi, at Rococo Tech Company, a secretary informed Chen Peter about Jiang Yiyi's past. During her childhood in Taiwan, Yiyi had won several "Young Inventor Competitions" co-organized by Chen Peter's company and Innovation Magazine. Rococo had nurtured her as a young talent, offering her a scholarship. Yiyi affectionately called Chen Peter her "super idol." Chen Peter then realized why Yiyi had seemed so familiar to him.
At the gym, Fang Muye worked out while also running errands for Yiyi, including picking up dog food and sanitary pads. Meng Sizhuo approached him to remind him about a celebratory dinner for Mu-Xing the following evening. Simultaneously, Muye received a text from Gigi, informing him that she was leaving and asking him to look after Yiyi. Later, Yiyi and Gigi shared an emotional farewell.
Yiyi expressed concern about Gigi's sudden decision to move to Dalian with a new boyfriend, Darren, whom she barely knew. Gigi, in turn, advised Yiyi to cherish Fang Muye, noting how good he had been to her. They hugged and wished each other well before Gigi departed. Back at home, Jiang Yiyi watched old videos of herself and Chu Tianqi interacting with her robotic arm.
Muye, who was living in his room there, observed her and commented on her unchanging "silliness" over the years. Yiyi felt self-conscious, believing she hadn't made any progress and was a burden to Chu Tianqi, who was constantly improving. Yiyi also looked at the numerous cartons Muye had just brought in from a delivery, contemplating moving to Chu Tianqi's house.
Muye discovered a postcard from Gigi tucked under his pillow, urging him to pursue his own happiness and "not to delay." Elsewhere, Meng Sizhuo overheard Peng Tao talking on the phone to Vivian. Peng Tao was seeking Vivian's help to find another job at a tech company, indicating he might be looking to leave Mu-Xing, as he felt he couldn't stay there much longer if his personal training job was discovered. Sizhuo wondered what Peng Tao was "sneaking around" doing.
That evening, Mu-Xing held a celebratory dinner. Meng Sizhuo proudly announced that Mu-Xing had overcome its recent crisis and invited two popular online fitness trainers, Little Orange and Princess Fragrance, to share their experiences and help promote the gym on live streaming platforms. Miaomiao, however, was clearly displeased, finding the atmosphere messy/chaotic and Sizhuo's focus on online trainers to be not focusing on proper business.
Muye tried to calm her, reminding her that everyone was happy about their recovery and unity. As Muye and Sizhuo were leaving the restaurant, they spotted Peng Tao meeting with Chen Peter. They overheard Peng Tao discussing a genetic test for a job opportunity at Rococo. Shortly after Peng Tao left, Chu Tianqi arrived to meet Chen Peter.
Chu Tianqi expressed gratitude for Peter's long-standing support and sought Rococo's sponsorship for his new tech product launch in Malaysia, aligning with Rococo's interest in the Southeast Asian market. Chen Peter agreed to help Chu Tianqi secure a company partner position, but as a businessman, he wouldn't make unprofitable deals. He revealed he had recently found a "girl with a real gift for inventing things" and challenged Chu Tianqi to prove himself superior to her to win the investment.
At work, Yiyi's colleague, Gwen, got married, which left Yiyi feeling down because Chu Tianqi hadn't contacted her in a week since she abruptly left his place. Despite her sadness, Yiyi couldn't stay angry with him and decided to proactively visit him at his company. After his meeting, they went to the rooftop to watch the sunset.
Chu Tianqi explained that immediately after his flight, his teacher (Angel's father) had called him to discuss a project, leading him to stay at his teacher's house overnight. He admitted he hadn't told her because he feared she would misunderstand. He apologized for his past negligence and promised to balance work and their relationship now that he was back. He then invited her to his company's new product testing event that weekend.
Yiyi, reassured by his explanation and feeling his increased care, accepted. Fang Muye went to Grandpa Hu's house to help with a leaky roof. Seeing his alarm clock getting wet, Muye decided to take it with him. Grandpa Hu warned him that nurturing the "time artifact" clock was not easy; only senior Guardians could typically keep one.
However, due to the circumstances, Muye had to follow strict instructions from a manual, including offering sandalwood tea, a flower, and white coffee daily, and taking selfies with the clock four times a day. Grandpa Hu emphasized that any mistake or damage to the clock would have severe consequences. Later, Yiyi told Muye she would be home late. Muye asked if she had reconciled with Chu Tianqi.
Yiyi's answer was ambiguous, but she expressed that Chu Tianqi seemed to care more about her now and that she might have misunderstood him previously. Muye, clearly annoyed, sarcastically encouraged her to pursue happiness if she believed it. Yiyi found his attitude odd. At the gym, Muye's colleagues surprised him with a celebration for being chosen as "Fitness Star" for a magazine.
Miaomiao congratulated him and invited him to watch a movie, "Wings of Desire," with her, which Muye agreed to after a slight hesitation. During the celebration, Meng Sizhuo tried to dance with Miaomiao, but she remained focused on Muye. Meanwhile, Jiang Yiyi attended Chu Tianqi's new product testing event by the sea. They were showcasing an "Underwater Fish-Viewing Bracelet" equipped with a new sonar system, designed to allow non-divers to see fish.
Despite being unable to swim, Yiyi volunteered to test the device in the ocean. She put on the bracelet, then, to dive deeper, she removed her life vest and oxygen mask. Underwater, she quickly found herself in distress, unable to breathe, and called for help. At the same time, a sudden white light enveloped Fang Muye, transporting him from the gym's changing room to the beach where Yiyi was.
He found her hairband on the sand and, using his supersight, realized she was underwater and in great danger. He immediately jumped into the sea to rescue her. Back at the gym, Meng Sizhuo confronted Peng Tao, accusing him of taking outside work and stealing clients. Their argument escalated into a fight. Miaomiao, rushing to intervene and separate them, accidentally bumped into Muye's locker. The alarm clock inside fell to the ground and shattered into many pieces.
Simultaneously, in the ocean, Muye's body suddenly stiffened, and he became unable to move, leaving him helpless as Yiyi struggled underwater. Chu Tianqi, who had returned from a dive, realized Yiyi was missing and went back into the water to search for her.
