Zheng Dingding's latest blind date proved to be quite eccentric; he was engrossed in his game, expecting her, as the older one, to be obedient and care for him, and even envisioned her raising their future child while he continued playing games without interference. Meanwhile, Ning Weixuan and Gao Ren were demonstrating what a couple should look like to Ning Weijin, calling each other "honey" and intimately feeding each other.
Ning Weijin found their antics disgusting, but Gao Ren insisted that girls fall for such displays, asserting it was an on-the-spot lesson in the "essence of love" to help Ning Weijin learn to pretend effectively. Just then, Zheng Dingding sent an urgent WeChat message to Ning Weijin, complaining that her mother had forced her into another blind date with a "freak." Ning Weixuan was surprised by her mother's persistence, given Zheng Dingding was supposedly with Ning Weijin.
Gao Ren seized the opportunity, declaring it perfect for a "hero saving a beauty" scenario. He quickly looked up "bossy president" lines, demonstrating how Ning Weijin should push Zheng Dingding against a wall in a "kabe-don" move, grab her, kiss her publicly, declare her "his woman," and toss money at the blind date. Zheng Dingding clarified that such behavior was only appealing in TV dramas or novels, not in real life, making Ning Weijin realize his doubts about Gao Ren's advice were valid. He then offered to carry her on his back because of her scratched foot. Realizing this was all part of their fake relationship, Zheng Dingding thanked him. He went to a bar and drank heavily, in his drunken state, he mistakenly grabbed a woman, thinking she was Zheng Dingding. After realizing his error, he sat dejectedly by the roadside and, in his moment of despair, called Wen Zixin. The next morning at the hospital, Ning Weijin's assistants were startled when he entered, expecting his usual strict reprimand for eating in the office.
Instead, he calmly told them to eat slowly, then inquired about a patient's edema and instructed them to monitor the ICU patients after their meal before he proceeded with his ward rounds. The two assistants were left in the office, stunned by "Professor Ning's" uncharacteristic geniality. Meanwhile, Zheng Dingding was packing a completed order when the client messaged to cancel.
The client stated she had found "something better in other shops" and already placed another order, dismissing Zheng Dingding's designs as having "only a few patterns." Zheng Dingding explained the items were customized and asked what she should do with them, offering to customize new ones, but the client refused and requested a refund. Zheng Dingding was deeply disheartened, lamenting that it was a 4,000 yuan order that took her a week to complete.

Distraught by the canceled order, Zheng Dingding confided in Ning Weixuan. Shu Yiran mentioned that she and Ning Weijin were college classmates and family friends, explaining their familiarity. Zheng Dingding then asked if Shu Yiran and Ning Weijin were in a relationship, to which Shu Yiran replied they were just friends.
That night, Gao Ren was at a bar, sipping a non-alcoholic drink called "Desire Nothing," when Feifei, a woman he had previously flirted with, confronted him. Unable to shake her off, Gao Ren desperately called Shu Yiran for help, but she refused, citing her shift and telling him to handle his own problems. He then called Ning Weixuan, who promptly arrived, looking stunning in a black slip dress, immediately captivating the attention of many men.
Gao Ren proudly introduced her as his girlfriend, Ning Weixuan. Feifei remained skeptical, so Ning Weixuan, to prove their relationship, suggested they share a "French kiss" with "Little Renren" (Gao Ren). Gao Ren tried to back out, accusing her of trying to "get rid of me as soon as I had done my job." Ning Weixuan reminded him of her efforts, wearing her "favorite dress" just for "a cup of juice."
After leaving the bar, Gao Ren suddenly performed a "kabe-don" on Ning Weixuan and leaned in for a kiss. Startled, Ning Weixuan covered her mouth. Gao Ren then took a comical picture of her, declaring it "tit for tat" for her earlier stunt, and told her to watch fewer dramas. Ning Weixuan called him a "bastard," reminding him he had "cried for my help" and promised to grant her any wish if she helped him get rid of Feifei.
Gao Ren conceded but tried to "change the requirement," which Ning Weixuan firmly refused. Later, Cat received an invitation for the opening ceremony of "Dingding's studio." He asked Chen Xun if he would attend. Meanwhile, Ning Weixuan was struggling to fit her tall server, Yunsheng, into a cat costume. She decided to make Gao Ren wear it to greet guests on opening day. Gao Ren protested, complaining about the heat and the "stupid" appearance of the costume. Ning Weixuan proposed a solution: "ice packs" around his waist and "small electric fans" on his ears to create a "private air-conditioned room."
She also argued that Yunsheng, being handsome, needed to show his face to attract customers, implying Gao Ren's face was not as crucial. Gao Ren felt insulted and again refused, but Ning Weixuan reminded him of his promise to do "whatever I ask" if she helped him with Feifei. Gao Ren reluctantly agreed, still grumbling about the heat and the costume's foolishness.
Ning Weixuan then made him put on the headgear and, when he tried to take it off, threatened to tell Ning Weijin that he had "force-kissed me," a fabricated lie to force his compliance. Gao Ren, frustrated, allowed her to take a picture of him in the costume. On the opening day of the Good Time café, Zheng Dingding overslept due to nervousness and only managed to fall asleep at 4 AM.
Xiao Feng picked her up, teasing her for being late to her own studio's opening as they rushed to the cafe. Ning Weijin and Shu Yiran arrived to congratulate Ning Weixuan, who jokingly asked Ning Weijin for a gift. Gao Ren, wearing the cat costume, stood outside, distributing 5% discount VIP cards to welcome customers. Inside, Zheng Dingding's handmade items were very popular, with Shu Yiran praising her craftsmanship.
