Dingding countered that the doctor at the examination center had mentioned she possessed breast cancer genes and had previously been diagnosed with a fibroma, suggesting a high chance of recurrence. Xiao Feng then realized she had rejected Ning Weijin's proposal based on these fears. Gao Ren found Ning Weixuan outside the bar, having tried to reach her by phone. He confronted her, suspecting she had been drinking with Dr. Xiang again. Ning Weixuan angrily lashed out, telling him to stop meddling in her personal life.
