He spoke wistfully of taking her through fields of flowers on horseback, offering to trade his senses of sight, touch, and smell so she could experience the world's beauty. However, He Simu grew concerned, noting that ever since Fengyi taught him the method to swap the five senses, Duan Xu had become increasingly reckless. She warned him that by giving away too many sensations, he was losing his own ability to truly experience the world.
Despite the looming departure, Duan Xu remained devoted to making He Simu’s time in the mortal world special by trading his sense of taste to her.
