Ling Jue (Julian Lane) was carefree and rebellious, while Qin Shuyi (Sophia Quinn) was quiet, disciplined, and always played by the rules. What began as a casual relationship built on the words "just for fun" gradually turned into something neither expected. She accepted every request he made without complaint, leading everyone around them to believe she was hopelessly in love with him.
But when Ling Jue eventually ended the relationship with a casual, "I'm tired of this," Qin Shuyi simply nodded and walked away without hesitation. Calm, composed, and decisive, she left as though the breakup meant nothing at all.
It wasn't until they met again that Ling Jue realized the truth. While she sat across from another man, openly discussing marriage and their future together, he finally understood that her former obedience had never come from devotion.
