Synopsis
Former underworld kingpin Kang Qiang (Conrad Kane) gave up his notorious past and lived under a false identity, hoping to give his daughter a peaceful and ordinary life. Trusting his closest brother-in-arms, he arranged her marriage into the Chen family. However, on her wedding day, the Chen family's eldest son, Chen Chuan, drove her to jump from a building.
Witnessing the tragedy with his own eyes, Kang Qiang swore to avenge his daughter. Yet after years of living in obscurity, few people recognized the legendary crime boss he once was. As he moved to settle the score with Chen Chuan, members of the Chen family repeatedly stepped in to protect him—only to be humiliated and defeated one after another.
In the aftermath, Kang Qiang learned from doctors that his daughter had fallen into a vegetative state, but there was still hope for her recovery.
