Yan Xiaoqiu and Tang Ming arranged to go running together in the park. They discovered that they shared many common interests and hobbies. Previously, both of them ran alone, but now with someone accompanying them, the tedious sport of running became much more interesting. Halfway through their run, both were already out of breath. Xiaoqiu saw some young girls playing jump rope nearby and joined in.
Tang Ming watched Xiaoqiu jumping, his face beaming with such a warm smile, like the bright sunlight in spring opening up his heart. In Su Mang and Su Chang's childhood home, Zheng Chu and Su Chang, two grown men, were downstairs picking vegetables and preparing lunch. Su Mang and Tang Guoguo, two women, stayed in the room, clashing fiercely. Tang Guoguo warned Su Mang to stay away from their Zheng Chu.
Su Mang cleverly retaliated against Tang Guoguo's attack, leaving Tang Guoguo speechless. The two women, with menacing looks, were at a stalemate when suddenly they shrieked, each frantically grabbing pillows and other objects to throw at each other. Zheng Chu and Su Chang heard the screams and commotion and were startled, thinking the two women had really started fighting. However, when they ran in, they discovered that they were frightened by a cockroach.
After Zheng Chu had prepared the meal, he thought that the four of them had finally had their fun and their arguments, and could now sit down quietly for a good meal. Unexpectedly, wherever women were, there was a battlefield. Tang Guoguo and Su Mang secretly competed, making the meal utterly frustrating for Zheng Chu and Su Chang. As the two of them were bickering, their car suddenly broke down halfway, with no village ahead and no inn behind. The two had no choice but to get out and walk quickly to find a household. Along the way, they bickered and played, yet got along very well. Su Chang received Zheng Chu's heads-up and eagerly called Tang Guoguo to help her out. A couple came into Su Chang's shop. Su Chang accidentally spilled a drink on the woman. Unexpectedly, the woman was very finicky, and the man was a typical rich second generation. Su Mang and Zheng Chu discussed taking turns sleeping in the tent. However, Zheng Chu couldn't bear to let Su Mang, a pregnant woman, stay up all night. When it was time to switch, he didn't wake Su Mang.
Later in the night, Zheng Chu was truly tired and cold, so he had to enter the tent. Su Mang kept muttering about being cold in her sleep. Zheng Chu took off his clothes and covered Su Mang with them. To prevent Su Mang from making trouble for him the next day, Zheng Chu foresightfully recorded Su Mang's cries of "cold."
In the morning, Xiao Gu and his companions received a message from Zheng Chu and quickly went to search for Su Mang and Zheng Chu. Meanwhile, in the tent, Su Mang woke up to find Zheng Chu holding her, and she questioned Zheng Chu why he was hugging her. Zheng Chu explained to Su Mang that she herself had said she was cold in her sleep, which was why he hugged her.
Zheng Chu was glad he had kept the recording as evidence, which finally appeased Su Mang. Just then, Xiao Gu and his companions found Zheng Chu, seeing him emerge from the tent. Su Chang rushed to the restaurant where Tang Guoguo's blind date was taking place. At the room entrance, he encountered the rich second generation from his shop earlier. It turned out this rich second generation was Tang Guoguo's blind date for the day.
In front of Tang's father and everyone present, Tang Guoguo declared Su Chang was her boyfriend. Tang's father naturally had no pleasant expression for the uninvited Su Chang. Su Chang also had no pleasant expression for that man; after the incident in his shop, he knew this was an unreliable playboy. The blind date ended unhappily. Tang's father was furious with Tang Guoguo's actions.
Su Chang, not listening to Tang Guoguo, fabricated a story to Tang's father that he was the heir of some international conglomerate. Facing the enraged Tang's father, Su Chang told the truth, admitting he was just an unknown small magician. Tang's father left in anger. Zheng Chu and Su Mang finally found the guardian of Shunwang Temple.
The guardian told them the legend of the azure luan dancing in the mirror, which led to the legendary story between Jian Li and Emperor Shun. This story, heard from the old man, gave them new inspiration for this route. Su Mang decided to end her vacation early and return to the company.
