Yang Shanshan, disguised as Friday, continued her efforts to persuade Lu Sen to restart the creative competition, but he remained resistant. During a protest, an angry person attempted to smash Lu Sen's car with a large rock. Yang Shanshan instinctively protected Lu Sen, shielding him from harm. Lu Sen was deeply moved by her actions and they drove away from the scene.
Back at his house, Lu Sen gifted Yang Shanshan, as Friday, access to his private garden, which he had booked entirely for her. He told her she was not allowed to put herself at risk for him again, explaining that when the rock came down, he thought he was going to lose her. He said the thought of her getting hurt or short-circuited made him wish he was the one getting smashed instead.
Yang Shanshan, still in the Friday suit, reminded him that her metal arms and legs made her durable and that her programming required her to protect her master. Lu Sen responded by saying he would redo the input and protect her from now on. While in the garden, a gardener accidentally brushed against Lu Sen's neck, causing him to tense up, fearing an allergic reaction. To his surprise, he didn't develop any allergic reaction.
Yang Shanshan quickly intervened to diffuse the situation with the gardener. She privately wondered how Lu Sen, allergic to human contact, could be unaffected by her touch, despite her being human. Lu Sen was overjoyed, feeling he might be cured. He told Yang Shanshan that her insistence on coming out today was the best decision he had ever made in his entire life, making him feel incredibly happy.
Meanwhile, Fu Yang and his team at the lab discovered their monitoring system for "Friday" was in sleep mode. They quickly reactivated it, only to see the footage of Lu Sen's car being attacked. Fu Yang immediately decided to drive to check on Yang Shanshan, fearing for her safety, stating that the "Friday" Lu Sen had was fake and something could go wrong.
Overjoyed by his apparent recovery, Lu Sen decided to visit an amusement park with Yang Shanshan (as Friday), a place he had always dreamed of going if his condition improved. Yang Shanshan reassured him, telling him she had allergy syringes with her and that he shouldn't be afraid with her by his side. Lu Sen hesitantly removed his gloves and ventured into the crowds.
After interacting with several people on rides, he realized he was completely fine and didn't experience any allergic reactions. He excitedly called his doctor, Dr. Ou, to share the miraculous news, saying he had come into contact with at least ten people without a single rash. However, while he was on the phone, Yang Shanshan was distracted by some children's show and left his side to play with them.
As soon as she was out of range, Lu Sen started developing rashes again. He panicked, realizing Yang Shanshan had the syringes. But upon getting closer to Yang Shanshan in the distance, his rashes miraculously disappeared. Lu Sen immediately concluded that Yang Shanshan (as Friday) was the key to his recovery.
Overwhelmed with emotion, he rushed to her and kissed her forehead, declaring that he would buy her the best and most durable battery in the world and wanted her to stay by his side forever, until the end of his life. He announced that from now on, she was his most precious treasure. At that moment, Fu Yang arrived and witnessed the kiss.
He angrily separated them, accusing Lu Sen of inappropriate behavior and suggesting the kiss was part of a "test" for Friday. He angrily told Lu Sen that his actions were an insult to their research and everyone involved in it. Fu Yang declared that Team Alpha would protect Yang Shanshan from now on, thinking that Yang Shanshan had been enduring Lu Sen's advances.
Yang Shanshan tried to explain, but Fu Yang and his team were too upset, dismissing Lu Sen as wicked and a pervert. They speculated on the possibility of Lu Sen falling in love with "Friday" and worried about the massive three-hundred-million-yuan compensation if their project with Lu Sen was terminated. Fu Yang decided he needed to think about their next steps overnight.
Feeling emotionally drained and still in the heavy robot armor, Yang Shanshan went to a coffee shop to meet her friend. Her friend revealed that the attacker was a former creative director Lu Sen had fired, who had deliberately infiltrated the protest to seek revenge.
Yang Shanshan expressed concern that Mr. Si would investigate, but her friend reassured her as long as their internal team wasn't involved. Yang Shanshan felt that restarting the competition was now impossible. Her friend, however, disagreed, pointing out that Lu Sen had taken Yang Shanshan to an amusement park, which was highly unusual for a robot and its owner. She suspected that something special had happened between them that afternoon.
Yang Shanshan, denying anything special had occurred, simply stated that Lu Sen was like a child, perhaps having grown distant from people after living alone for so long. Her friend teased her, reminding her of how she initially called Lu Sen a "huge jerk and weirdo."
Yang Shanshan, still in the heavy suit, declared she was just a robot whose mission was complete and wanted to change out of her "armor," which was too heavy and made it hard to breathe. Her friend, however, insisted on seeing the "armor," clarifying she wanted to see a real robot, not a person pretending to be one. Later, Dr. Ou visited Lu Sen after hearing about his miraculous recovery.
Lu Sen explained that he could be like a normal person without allergic reactions only when Yang Shanshan (as Friday) was by his side, but would still get sick if she left. Dr. Ou explained that Lu Sen's allergies were psychological, stemming from a distrust of humans. He suggested that Lu Sen and the human-like robot had formed a relationship, providing him with a sense of security.
Dr. Ou concluded that "Friday" had "taken root in Lu Sen's heart," and that his reluctance to part with her was proof of their established connection. Lu Sen reflected on Dr. Ou's words, wondering if he had also "taken root" in Friday's heart, despite her being a robot without one. He meticulously recalled every detail of their interactions, searching for the "miraculous moments" that led to his healing.
Yang Shanshan, on the other hand, lay in bed, trying to stop thinking about Lu Sen and reminding herself that their connection was just that of a robot and its master. Meanwhile, Li Zhan, after receiving photos of Lu Sen and Yang Shanshan together at the amusement park, grew furious, accusing Lu Sen of being greedy. He demanded his investigators uncover the full extent of their relationship—when they met, their current status, and how far they had progressed, promising extra payment for a thorough job.
